I’m Sidney. Corporate by day, Airbnb host by night, writer on weekends👨🏽‍💻

Before I started this publication I was actually browsing Medium to see if something like this is already out there. I’m not one for duplicating efforts so if something like this would have been already out there, I probably would not have started The Hosts’ Corner. However, as far as I’m concerned there isn’t, so here we are.

I’m currently based in Kenya, one of Africa’s most visited destinations and have been hosting on Airbnb for about 2 years now. Ever since I first started hosting, I developed a real passion for it and I wanted to create an outlet where hosts can come together and share their unique experiences of running an Airbnb.

Here, we will explore our highs and lows of being a host as well as discuss any tips and tricks that that will help us take our hosting to the next level. 🚀

You can expect to read about a wide range of topics that will universally apply to Airbnb hosts from all over the world. We will also be discussing topics that are relevant to first timers as well as veterans who are looking for great new hacks! Entertaining anecdotes are also most welcome!😉
